If you are looking for Christmas gifts for the Diary of a Wimpy Kid fan in your life, we have a few great ideas for you!

Diary of a Wimpy Kid: The Cheese Touch Game. These are really hot this year, so you had better order soon! I’ve seen them at both Amazon and Walmart for about the same price.
Other Diary of a Wimpy Kid games include Scrabble and Uno. You can get those at Amazon as well.
Diary of a Wimpy Kid Shirts

We did a whole post about where you can buy Diary of a Wimpy Kid Shirts if you are serious about wanting to find them. I’ve never seen them locally except when Borders had special promotions, so you will have to order them online. Your best bet is StylinOnline.com but you can also find them on eBay. We’ve done the searching for you, so you can just click on our links and it will take you directly to them.

There are at least 4 different Diary of a Wimpy Kid Puzzles, each corresponding with 1 of the first 4 books. They are 200 pieces each and run about $10 each or 2 for $15.

Diary of a Wimpy Kid Bookmarks
Diary of a Wimpy Kid Bookmarks are around $4-5 and would make great stocking stuffers.
Diary of a Wimpy Kid Hats

Diary of a Wimpy Kid hats are hard to find because 1) only a couple of styles were made, 2) they were made for a limited time, and 3) they are sold out in most places. Check out our Diary of a Wimpy Kid Hat post for all of the places that we have been able to find them.
Diary of a Wimpy Kid Movie Diary: This is a fun book for kids who want to learn more about how the Wimpy Kid books are being turned into movies.
We’ll continue to look for good Diary of a Wimpy Kid gift ideas over the coming weeks and post them when we find them.

Amazon has had a couple in stock but they sell out quickly and are often through resellers.
Borders has a purple one but it is not available locally. If you are lucky, you can keep trying back at your local stores or Borders.com and they do come into stock every now and again.
If you are in a pinch and not looking for any particular hat, Retrofacts is selling some through their eBay store as well:

We’ve been getting a lot of emails from people asking “Where can I buy the Diary of a Wimpy Kid game?” The good news is that the game is now available!
The game is called the “Diary of a Wimpy Kid: The Cheese Touch Game” and involves players moving around a board–obviously avoiding the cheese!
You can get it in a number of places but they do sell out from time to time. We’ll list them here as we find them. In addition, there are a couple of other Diary of a Wimpy Kid games that you might want to check out including Diary of a Wimpy Kid UNO, Diary of a Wimpy Kid Scrabble, and various puzzles.
Amazon (currently $19.99) (and they have the other games)
Walmart ($19.99)

Although there isn’t much Diary of a Wimpy Kid merchandise out there yet, one interesting item on the shelves now is the first “Diary of a Wimpy Kid” Parody. “Diary of a Stinky Dead Kid (Tales from the Crypt #8)” is a parody of “Diary of a Wimpy Kid,” “Twilight,” and Guitar Hero published by Papercutz. It’s a series of 4 stories written as a graphic novel. The target age range is 9-12 years old and the stories are supposed to be a little bit scary. Reviews of the novel have been very good but so far are primarily from people who enjoy the Tales from the Crypt series in general.
From what I can tell, the hardcover version is now on backorder. However, you should be able to find the paperback more easily available (and cheaper!). Here are some current prices:
Borders: paperback $7.95, hardcover $12.95
Amazon: paperback $7.95, hardcover $9.32
TFAW.com: paperback $6.36
StylinOnline.com has added 8 new Diary of a Wimpy Kid Shirts. Here is an example:

Diary of a Wimpy Kid Loded Diaper Youth T-Shirt
You can see the whole collection by visiting StylinOnline.com and doing a search for “wimpy.” They have a couple of new ones like “Cheese Touch” and “Zoe-Wee-Mama” that I have not seen anywhere else.
Amazon also has some Diary of a Wimpy Kid shirts now sold by various distributors. Click here to see the whole collection at Amazon.
Borders did release some official Diary of a Wimpy Kid Shirts on which you could write your own quote in a word bubble. However, these are not available on line and my local Borders was sold out. I was able to find some of them using a Wimpy Kid Shirt search on eBay.
I was also able to find a few other Diary of a Wimpy Kid Shirts that I have not seen anywhere else. They are officially licensed and are sold by Retrofacts.
Here are a few of the sales ending soon:
Original Post: My daughter was asking me the other day to buy her a Diary of a Wimpy Kid shirt. Seemed like a good suggestion because she loved the books. But after searching online for over an hour, I couldn’t find one. So I decided that if we want a Wimpy Kid shirt, we’ll have to make one!
Here are two of my favorite sites for making shirts: Zazzle and CafePress. Both allow you to upload graphics or just use text. You can customize the type of shirt, size, color, etc.
So I was thinking…we need to come up with some good Diary of a Wimpy Kid quotes to use to make our own shirts. I’ve come up with a couple but could use your help! Leave a comment with quotes from any of the Diary of a Wimpy Kid book that you think would be great to make into a shirt.
My quotes:
“They made Rowley _ _ _ the Cheese.”
“It’s is a JOURNAL, not a diary”
“I am a Wimpy Kid”
The best shirts from books tend to be the ones that have some kind of quote or reference that you only get if you have read the book. It makes it fun to wear them and see who else “gets it.”
